Unit 29- Task 2 Techniques

Techniques: (Music Video- Paradise by Coldplay) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1G4isv_Fylg&feature=g-music One technique they used is multiple images. They may have used this in the scene where the Giraffe is in the background. The camera angles change when he is moving on from one place to another to give effect of his journey in time. Camera movements are used for the bike shop scene. We see the elephant walking to the shop and then we see the elephant looking through the window from the inside. The next shot we see the elephant looking in the shop window from the outside looking at the bikes. The shot is used to make the audience think what he could be looking at. When the plane is in the air green screen may have been used for this shot to make it look real. It works by putting your footage into an editing programme and inserting different video footage over the green screen. Location shoots- The elephant is first seen in a zoo in London, he then escapes to Heathrow airport and gets a plane to South Africa and has to meet his fellow elephant band in Cape Town.
